This project captivates the world of folktales and embarks on a creative journey. The focus is on developing three double-page spreads with captivating illustrations that will bring the story’s theme to life.  

The folktale selected for this project is a Dutch folktale “The boy who wanted more cheese” about a kid that loves all food but especially cheese, with key theme as gluttony depicted as incorrect behaviour.  

All the illustrations are made with cut out coloured paper, each character was carefully designed, and vibrant colours were used to create a contrasting composition, adding depth and dimension to the final piece.
